Video: Felting Rocks

I had a TON of fun doing this. It is very representative of my real life: me, wearing lipstick, and my kids doing their own thing but also trying in their own ways to be involved. Watson, the faithful Springer Spaniel, putting his nose in everything as he has been trained by the children. 

I really am a big fan of felting. The other day my sweet siblings-in-law came over for a fun night together. They graciously joined me in felting rocks, and Katie said it just right: "Oh, this is already feeling therapeutic." or something like that. Indeed, stabbing wool roving with a sharp needle, squeezing on rocks, creatively choosing patterns and colors: it's a great stress reliever. 

And people LOVE receiving these. I had an acupuncture appointment on Valentine's Day, so I grabbed a cute felted rock to be a Valentine for my acupuncturist. She loved it, and texted me during the following week a few times to say so!
